These Terms of Use govern your use of lievitofresco.com ("the Site"). By browsing the Site, leaving a comment, or subscribing to the newsletter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.

1. What This Site Is

Lievito Fresco is a personal food blog. It publishes recipes, cooking notes, photography, and occasional travel and kitchen writing, all offered free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.

The Site does not sell products, take orders, or provide professional culinary, nutritional, or medical services. See our Disclaimer for the limits of what the recipes and any nutrition figures represent.

2. Using Our Content

All recipes, written text, and photographs on the Site are original work and remain the property of Lievito Fresco unless stated otherwise. They are protected by copyright.

You are welcome to:

• Cook any recipe on this Site, as often as you like, including for people you are feeding commercially.
• Print or save a recipe for your own kitchen use.
• Share a link to any page, anywhere.
• Quote a short extract (a sentence or two) alongside a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not:

• Republish a full recipe, article, or photograph on another website, social account, app, or printed publication without written permission.
• Present our recipes or photographs as your own work.
• Use our content to train, fine-tune, or benchmark machine-learning models without written permission.
• Scrape the Site in bulk or by automated means.

Recipe ingredient lists are not themselves copyrightable, but the accompanying writing, method, and photography are. If you rewrite a recipe fully in your own words, a courtesy credit and link is appreciated.

3. Comments

Comments are welcome and are moderated before they appear. By submitting a comment you confirm that it is your own work and that you grant us a non-exclusive right to display it on the Site.

We remove comments that are spam, advertising, abusive, discriminatory, off-topic, or that infringe someone else's rights — at our discretion and without notice. We may also decline to publish a comment without giving a reason.

Ratings submitted with a comment count toward a recipe's average only once the comment is approved.

4. Newsletter

Subscribing is optional and free. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us. We do not sell or rent subscriber email addresses.

5. Advertising and Affiliate Links

The Site is supported by advertising, which may be served by third parties including Google AdSense. Ads are labelled and kept separate from editorial content — no advertiser pays for a recipe to be published or reviewed favourably.

Where a page contains an affiliate link, it is disclosed on that page. Affiliate commission never changes what we recommend. How advertising cookies work, and how to decline them, is covered in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

6. Links to Other Sites

We sometimes link to other websites — equipment, ingredients, sources, or places we have written about. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Site available and its recipes accurate, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove content at any time, including correcting or retiring a recipe.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or from following any recipe or suggestion published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
